Retirement advice firm Age Partnership is set to launch an equity release lending arm later this year.
The firm is waiting for lending permissions but expects to launch a lifetime mortgage product in the second half of 2013. The product will be offered on a national basis. Age Partnership's technical adviser - equity release, Simon Chalk said: "Backed by its plans to reach 200 staff, of which 70 are advisers by June, Age aims to be the most important at retirement adviser in the market."
