A recent conference on wealth management in Jersey raised concerns over the evolution of exchange of information.
The Island’s concentrated push in promoting information exchange on request was praised by Monica Bhatia, Head of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes at the OECD. Bhatia described Jersey as playing an “important role” as members of the Global Forum Steering Group in helping to shape global standards.
