F&C plans 'stepping stone' Lifestyle fund for Potter & Burdett

F&C Investments is planning to launch a fifth fund in Gary Potter and Rob Burdett's risk-targeted Lifestyle range.

The group plans to launch the F&C MM Lifestyle Foundation fund at the end of 2013, subject to regulatory approval. Managed by Burdett and Potter, the fund will be the lowest-risk Lifestyle offering and will employ tactical asset allocation strategies within a pre-defined volatility band. Asset allocation will correspond to plus or minus 5% in an individual asset class, with allocations reviewed once a quarter and regular rebalancing.
