Scammers have cloned a German wealth management firm which aims to lure in UK investors using a fictitious office in London's City, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned.
The fraudsters, which are calling themselves FE Wealth Management, are pretending to be located at Heron Tower, Bishopsgate, and are giving out details of a website (www.fewealthmanagement.com) as well as corresponding email address: [email protected]. Their victim, a Germany-based firm authorised in the European Economic Area, is called Frank Eppendahl, and is allowed to offer, promote or sell services or products in the UK.
