Former F&C CEO Grisay passes away

Alain Grisay, the former chief executive of F&C Asset Management, has passed away.

Grisay, who was 59, retired from F&C in 2012 having served as CEO from 2006. He had also been an executive director at the company since 2001. Grisay (pictured) had a long career in finance, working at J.P. Morgan for 20 years before his move to F&C, holding roles including managing director responsible for the investment bank's market client business in Europe. Jason Hollands, managing director at Bestinvest who worked closely with Grisay during his time at F&C, paid tribute to his former colleague today.
