Almary Green named Chartered firm of the year

Almary Green was named Chartered firm of the year at the Personal Finance Society's annual gala dinner last night.

The Norwich-based business, run by IFA Carl Lamb, scooped the award after beating two other firms who made it to the shortlist. Lamb received the award from PFS chief executive Keith Richards and comedian and TV personality Alexander Armstrong. Rebecca Kowalsli scooped Paraplanner of the Year and Petronella West was also honoured for her pro bono work. The John Ellis Award was presented to Steve Webb, the pensions minister. Richards said his dedication to the subject of pensions and his long standing position made him the ideal winner. > Read PA's profile of Carl Lamb here <
