Ex-international cricketer signs with Tilney Bestinvest

Former international cricketer Douglas Lockhart has joined Tilney Bestinvest as an associate director.

Lockhart has thirteen years' experience in the industry and began his career as a trainee with Tilney in 2002. Subsequently, he moved to Barclays Wealth in 2010, where he was a portfolio manager. Alongside his investment career, Lockhart made 176 appearances for the Scottish cricket team, including twelve as captain. He retired in 2011. Lockhart will work in Tilney's Glasgow office, managing discretionary and advisory investment portfolios for a variety of personal and institutional investors.
