National advice firm Lighthouse Group has launched a "holistic" mortgage and protection advice service in response to demand from clients.
Lighthouse Mortgage and Protection Solutions (LMPS) will help tackle the problem of mortgage loans being completed without appropriate cover, such as life insurance, critical illness or income protection, the group said in a statement. It added it will also help consumers achieve their goals "without the need to visit the high street or search the internet for unadvised deals". The LMPS offering will initially be made available to a subset of Lighthouse's affinity partners, which currently represent about 1.7 million members.
