Budget 2015: Pension Wise gets £20m funding boost

An additional £19.5m will be provided in 2015-2016 to support pensions freedoms and the Pension Wise service as part of today's Budget announcements.

These funds could provide a significant boost to the £20m initially set aside in last year's Budget to fund the guidance service during its first year of operation. Background documents reveal the money will be used to extend the availability of state pension statement and pension tracing services as well as providing extra delivery capacity for Pension Wise.
