Top funds feature in advisers' most bought and sold lists in same month

Mark Barnett and Richard Woolnough funds proving both popular and unpopular with advisers and investors

The Invesco Perpetual High Income fund, run by Mark Barnett, and M&G Optimal Income, managed by Richard Woolnough, were among both the most bought and most sold funds by advisers last month, Financial Express (FE) data shows.

Using FE Analytics' Market Intel (MI) tool, FE found Barnett's and Woolnough's (pictured) funds were the most deleted from adviser portfolios, however, both also featured on the top ten most popular list. The Newton Asian Income fund was also among the top ten funds most sold last month, following the departure of former manager Jason Pidcock for Jupiter, as was Invesco Perpetual's Monthly Income Plus fund, run by Paul Causer and Paul Read, and M&G's Global Dividend fund, led by Stuart Rhodes and Simon Bailey.  Stewart Investors (formerly First State) Asia Pacific Leaders fund, run by...
