Savers in Zurich corporate pension schemes will be able to access non-advised drawdown from the provider.
The provider said the option would help people looking to take advantage of pension freedom reforms but do not want to take regulated financial advice. Pension freedom gave defined contribution savers over the age of 55 complete control of their pension pots. People who traditionally would have bought an annuity are now able to access different drawdown options. Other providers have also stepped into the non-advised drawdown market following pension freedom, which came into force in April.
