BlackRock has restructured the leadership of its investment business, combining all active equity strategies under one roof and expanding the multi-asset team.
The changes, which will be effective from 1 February, focus on the firm's global investment platform, but do not affect portfolio managers. The changes will see Rich Kushel promoted to head of the multi-asset strategies business, while Pierre Sarrau will be chief investment officer of the division, where the group sees "leading opportunities for growth" in the future.
