Getting small businesses and low earners on board with auto-enrolment will be the real test over the next two years, the Public Accounts Committee has said.
In its latest report, the committee said smaller employers had fewer resources to administer auto-enrolment and that simplifying the process would be critical. The committee made a number of recommendations (see below) including a request that the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) provide updates on small business staging.
