A pension tracing website designed to help savers track down lost retirement pots has been launched by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

The website, part of the Pension Tracing Service, has been established to help people track down lost savings. About £400m of unclaimed pension savings is waiting to be claimed, the DWP said. It said pension freedom reforms had given savers more flexibility over their savings which would increase demand on the Pension Tracing Service.
