Felix Wintle, previously head of US equities at Neptune Investment Management, has exited the firm as it restructures its US equities range, promoting US Income manager James Hackman and launching a mid-cap mandate.
Wintle has left the firm after joining in 2004 and taking over the £307m US Opportunities fund a year later. Despite outperforming the IA North America sector over ten years, the fund has underperformed of late. Over the past three years to 24 May it has returned 14.2% compared to the sector average return of 28.9%, according to FE. Founder and CEO of Neptune Robin Geffen said: "Felix leaves with Neptune's best wishes for the future and the company thanks him for his contribution throughout his tenure."
