The regulator has warned people about fake emails that appear to have been sent by several of its addresses.
In a post on its website on 5 January the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said it had been made aware of an email sent to people from the address [email protected] that was fake and should not be opened. It said: "We are aware that an email has been sent which appears to be from [email protected]. This email was not sent by the FCA and recipients should delete the email without opening."
