Dominic Neary, manager of the £484m Scottish American Investment Trust, has left Baillie Gifford after eight years.
Neary (pictured) joined the firm in 2009 from Insight Investment and was head of the global income growth team. He was also manager of the Scottish American investment trust (SAINTS) and the £491m open-ended Baillie Gifford Global Income Growth fund. Both of these vehicles have been taken over by former deputy managers James Dow and Toby Ross who will run them together as co-managers.
