Punter Southall Aspire to acquire IFA as part of growth strategy

Workplace savings and pension business Punter Southall Aspire has announced its intention to purchase Oxford-based independent adviser firm Focus Oxford.

The deal, which is expected to be completed in April, is the first in a series of planned acquisitions of IFA firms to grow Punter Southall Aspire's retail advisory arm and support the development of its new investment administration platform, myAspire. Focus Oxford offers advice on all aspects of financial planning, including pensions, investments, mortgages and life assurance. The company has 19 employees, including six regulated advisers.
