Chris Burvill, manager of the £2.1bn Janus Henderson Cautious Managed fund, is to take an extended period of leave from the fund for medical reasons.
Burvill, who is also director of UK equities, has run the multi-asset fund since 2011 when he joined the firm from Gartmore. The fund will be taken over by existing co-manager Stephen Payne, who will be supported by John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard. Payne focuses on UK equities while Pattullo and Barnard both have backgrounds in fixed income as co-heads of strategic fixed income at the firm.
