Fairstone adds £200m FUM with full acquisition of Peterborough IFA

Brings in total fee income of £850,000

Fairstone has fully acquired Peterborough-based IFA Zimb Johnson Bespoke Financial Planning, adding some £200m funds under management with its second deal of 2018.

The deal, which brings total fee income of around £850,000 a year to Fairstone, will see four staff join the group. Zimb Johnson first joined up with Fairstone in 2015, with the IFA being integrated through the group's proprietary downstream buyout (DBO) model. Zimb Johnson, which was founded in 1999, specialises in providing client-focused wealth management services to individuals and owner-managers of private companies, as well as advice to trustees, family offices and charities.
