Woodford Patient Capital ejected from FTSE 250 in latest reshuffle

Neil Woodford's £606m Patient Capital trust has dropped out of the FTSE 250 in the latest quarterly review of the FTSE UK Index Series.

The reshuffle, which is calculated based on closing prices from 29 May, has seen popular names fall out of their respective benchmarks, with the new positions coming into effect from 18 June. In its official statement released on 30 May, the global index provider FTSE Russell said: "The rules-driven, impartial quarterly reviews ensure the indexes continue to portray an accurate reflection of the market they represent, and form an essential component to the management of the indexes."  One of the four names ejected from the FTSE 250 was well-known manager Neil Woodford's £606m Woodford...
