SLA's O'Dwyer and Fleming appointed non-exec directors of Phoenix Group

Barry O'Dwyer and Campbell Fleming, both senior figures at Standard Life Aberdeen, are to become non-executive directors of Phoenix Group.

Their appointments will be effective from the date of completion of the acquisition by Phoenix of Standard Life Assurance and have been made in accordance with the terms of Phoenix's long-term strategic partnership with Standard Life Aberdeen, the group said. O'Dwyer is the CEO of Standard Life Aberdeen's Pensions & Savings business. He has held several senior roles at Standard Life since re-joining the company in 2013, and during his initial spell at Standard Life between 1988-2008.
