Buckingham Building Society has signed a contract with equity release referral service Key Partnerships.

Through the partnership, Buckingham Building Society's new and existing customers will have access to specialist advice on equity release. Equity release is a growing sector, increasing from £1.25bn to £1.7bn (37%) of lending in 12 months. In Q2 2018 alone, homeowners aged 55 and over unlocked £971m from their homes.  Buckinghamshire Building Society head of lending Tim Vigeon said: "We know that borrowing when you are older is a decision that needs to be considered carefully.
