Fund management media specialist Fundamental Media has acquired boutique marketing consultancy firm, Hooplot Associates BV.

Hooplot specialises in sales, marketing and cross border distribution for asset managers, conducting industry specific research, market entry assignments and advice on how firms can boost their exposure. Hooplot founder Vincent Hooplot will join Fundamental Media's board of directors as chief operating officer and chief strategist. Fundamental Media said the acquisition will expand its strategic knowledge of the asset management industry as well as gaining research and insights into its media intelligence.
