Yorkshire advice firm helps town get back on its feet amid pandemic

Otley-based financial adviser Tom Hatley has stepped up to ensure businesses in his area are getting everything they need to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.

As chair of Otley business improvement district, the Christopher Little & Co owner asked the district's members what would help them through this period of uncertainty. He and his paraplanner Ryan Spence have worked around the clock to ensure businesses in the Yorkshire town have access to government funding and equipment to get their operations running again. "All of our members have access to business grants, £10,000 or £25,000 for larger businesses. Even eight weeks in [to lockdown], there were businesses that were still unaware they were able to get these grants," Hatley said. ...
