Investec combines financial planning services to create new advice arm

Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has launched its own financial advice service by combining its financial planning services into a new advice arm.

The Wealth Advisory arm will incorporate the financial planning division as well as the recently formed wealth planning service. It will be headed up by Michelle Holgate and Sarfraz Hafeji who together, will lead the wealth planning service. Holgate has been in the sector for 17 years and has worked with high net worth individuals both in the UK and offshore while Hafeji's financial services career spans two decades, 17 of which has been at Investec, where he has held various roles.
