The ABI says forthcoming legislation around dashboards services needs rethinking

Pensions dashboards must be interactive and meet younger age groups’ digital demands, according to the Association of British Insurers (ABI).

The trade body said the project was "a once in a generation opportunity" to engage savers but that the current regulatory regime falls flat of meeting their needs. Current proposals for the dashboard will only allow used to see their pension pots in one place which the ABI has slammed as a "read-only service" in research findings published today (19 January). The research - conducted with Britain Thinks - found that 60% of savers thought a dashboard would help them understand their pension better.
