Fairstone completes 50th acquisition in ten years

Fairstone has completed its 50th deal in ten years with the acquisition of Sidmouth-based East Devon Associates (EDA).

It marks the group's third buyout deal in 2022, which have added a combined total of £350m of client assets to the Chartered consolidator's books. EDA, founded in 2004, has five staff and 500 clients. It started Fairstone's Downstream Buy Out (DBO) programme - where firms begin the process of integration ahead of final buyout - in 2019. Fairstone said it had increased its revenue by 17% during the period.
