Uncertainty knocks at our door once more. The events of 2000 when the dotcom fuelled markets tumbled and of 2007 when we were running £250m and the US mortgage market went into meltdown, has influenced investment strategy, it's why we do what we do. Our primary realisation was that our job is not to try to defy markets, that's a fool's errand, doomed to disappoint investors.
