Two advisers and a self-proclaimed director that were involved in pension miss-selling, which lost investors millions, have been disqualified from acting as directors of any company in any sector by the government’s Insolvency Service.
Aiden Henderson, Andrew Page and Thomas Ward are now prevented from directly, or indirectly, becoming involved in the promotion, formation or management of a company with the permission of a court, according to a statement on the department website. Following a trial Page (an adviser) and Ward were granted a ten-year disqualification order, which was effective from 21 October and Henderson, also an adviser, received the same sentence, which is effective from 15 December.
