Planning firm has around £121m in assets under advice

Jersey wealth and asset management firm TEAM has announced its acquisition of Isle of Man-based planning firm Thornton Associates.

The deal delivers on the asset manager's strategy to build and expand into "fast-growing international finance centres", it said in a statement today (1 June).  Together deal increases TEAM's assets under management to over £850m. TEAM has conditionally agreed to acquire the entire issued share capital for a consideration of up to £2.5m for Thornton Associates. The firm trades as Thornton Chartered Financial Planners and has assets under advice of £121m and approximately 180 client groups, typically high-net-worth couples and families.  TEAM plans to integrate Thornton into its ...
