The majority (60%) of advisers have said that their clients have adjusted their plans as a result of the cost of living crisis.
This is according to the Schroder's UK Financial Adviser Pulse Survey, which was conducted between 2 May and 16 May 2023 among 180 advisers from 150 firms. The report revealed that more than half (66%) of advisers said up to a quarter (25%) of their clients have adjusted plans over the last 12 months. The majority (60%) of clients have cited higher household expenses (food/fuel) as a reason for changing their plans amid the cost of living crisis.
