Clients’ appetite for sustainable investing has dropped since last November due to performance challenges and increased scepticism.
This is according to Schroders' UK Financial Adviser Pulse Survey, which was conducted between 2 May and 16 May 2023 among 180 advisers from 150 firms. The number of advisers witnessing an increase in clients asking about sustainable investment options over the past 12 months has dropped from 51% in November 2022 to 32%.
