One Financial Solutions hires Marlborough to manage new MPS range

Firm to transfer £50m into the portfolios in the first year

One Financial Solutions (OFS) has appointed financial services group Marlborough to construct and manage a new managed portfolio solutions (MPS) range for its clients.

OFS, which has 22 advisers working from two offices in Surrey and another in Glasgow, has more than £200m of assets under management. The IFA said it expects to transfer around £50m into the portfolios in the first six to 12 months. This will include existing client money, together with assets from new clients. The 15 portfolios in the range, which launched on 23 August, are matched to five different risk profiles - with options for the underlying funds to be active, passive, or blended.
