Progeny to acquire Edinburgh advice firm adding £600m in AUM

The Leeds-based firm looks to ‘strengthen’ presence in Scotland

National Chartered wealth manager Progeny has announced the acquisition of Chartered financial advice firm Carbon Financial Partners.

The deal will add £600m to Progeny's assets under management. Carbon Financial Partners consists of a team of 45 staff across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Perth. The firm offers a personal service to its clients, business leaders and those approaching life transitions. Carbon Financial Partners managing director Gordon Wilson said: "Progeny share our investment philosophy and our values.
