Azets acquires Newcastle-based firm Laurus Associates to expand services

Azets Wealth Management has announced its acquisition of Chartered financial planners Laurus Associates Limited, expanding its expertise in financial planning and wealth management.

Laurus Associates was established in 2002 by Karen Barwick and Colin Dawson and provides a range of personal and corporate financial advice, including investments, pensions, and life assurance. The Newcastle-based firm achieved Chartered financial planner status in 2009. Under the deal, Laurus Associates' clients will continue to receive the same advice and support while gaining access to Azets' broader range of services, the business stated.
