Baillie Gifford: Searching for exceptional US growth in a top-heavy market

Given the strong performance of the US indices, it must be questioned whether investors are burying their heads in the sand about the lack of diversification, according to Baillie Gifford.

Speaking at the latest of Professional Adviser's Digital Working Lunches, Baillie Gifford American Fund director and investment specialist Ben James outlined the firm's bullish outlook for exceptional US growth companies. The investment specialist explained that commentators suggested that market concentration presents some risks, increased volatility and opportunity costs and some commentators suggested that investors should reduce their US exposure in general.
