Shackleton cuts fees for new and existing clients

Shackleton is to cut its platform fees for existing and new clients on the Shackleton Hub, as well as reducing the overall cost of funds (OCF) from 1 February.

It said the starting rate for investments up to £500,000 would fall from 0.23% to 0.20%, representing a 13% reduction. It added for investments between £500,000 and £1m, the business would introduce a new tier ranging from 0.23% to 0.15% - a 35% reduction. All other charges remain unchanged, it said. Its VT Esprit funds, which make up part of Shackleton's centralised investment proposition, have seen a reduction in OCFs of 0.02% - 0.07%. VT Esprit Tactical Growth, the largest fund in the range at £340m, has seen its OCF fall from 0.75% to 0.68%, the Chartered advice business added. ...
