Clifton Wealth Partnership acquires two Scottish financial planning firms

Businesses of retiring advisers Cairn Independent and JRW join

Two financial planning firms based in Scotland have joined the Clifton Wealth Partnership (CWP) as it looks to boost its presence in the area.

Fife-based Cairn Independent and Glasgow-based JRW have both joined the firm. In addition to the two businesses joining CWP, Cairn operations director Laura Young will become regional financial planning support manager for Clifton. CWP set out that Both Cairn and JRW will work closely together going forward to maintain and grow the CWP client base across Scotland. Both businesses together add around £150m assets under management (AUM) to CWP, increasing Clifton Group's total AUM to more than £3.5bn.
