Investors have often expressed a view that they fail to fully understand multi-asset funds. We would put this down to a number of factors, which include the extreme divergence in performance one can achieve, how funds are categorised, a lack of clarity and tangibility around investment outcomes and the range of potential asset classes available for selection.
