Why aren't there more female financial advisers? This was one of the questions I asked 30 women with successful careers in financial advice at a seminar I hosted recently (20 May). One of the main answers was that many women just don't know about financial advice as a career. Most of those present had ‘fallen into it'. No school careers adviser had ever mentioned it.
