Hargreaves Lansdown receives 3,000 investment complaints, FCA figures show

Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management received almost 3,200 complaints in the second half of last year, figures published by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) show.

A total of 3,173 complaints were opened against the company between July and December 2013, up from 527 in the previous six month period, according to the data. Larger businesses are likely to receive more complaints. Overall, the number of new complaints opened against financial services businesses was down 15%. There were a total of 2,479,029 complaints between July and December, against 2,911,154 in the previous period.
