Which? bins annuities advice plan after Budget changes

Consumer group Which? has shelved plans to launch an annuities advice service following the far-reaching changes announced at Budget 2014.

The company, best known for independent research projects, last year began a pilot service offering guidance and whole of market advice to the public on annuities. It was called Which? Annuity Advisers. But changes affecting retirees' access to their pension savings, announced by Chancellor George Osborne (pictured) at Budget 2014, have brought an end to the project, according to the Sunday Times (£).
