Copia launches factor-based portfolios with Dimensional

Total costs range from 0.32% to 0.55%

Copia Capital Management has launched a range of factor-based managed portfolios, Select Plus, using a blend funds from global asset manager Dimensional Fund Advisors and ETFs.

Advisers can choose from five risk profiles, designed for medium- to long-term investors in the accumulation phase of the lifecycle. The total expense ratio (TER), or total cost, for each of the underlying funds ranges from 0.32% to 0.55%, going up the risk scale. The expected return for the funds ranges from 3.10% to 6.22%, dependent again on the risk profile selected. Discretionary manager Copia, which is owned by platform Novia, created the portfolios on the back of its ‘Select' range which was launched in November 2016.
