When a client takes out life insurance, they do so with the peace of mind that, should the worst happen, their family will be able to cope financially. The last thing anyone will want is for payment to be delayed or for it not to reach the people it was intended for. With or without a will, distributing assets not under trust can take several months or, in some cases, even years.
