First up, financial advisers have been alerted to (and investors warned about) potential mis-selling of the EEA Life Settlements fund. The warning comes from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which has also said that some rights to complain about potential mis-selling will expire on 1 December 2014. The EEA Life Settlements fund is an unregulated collective investment scheme made up of traded life policy investments (TLPIs), based in Guernsey.
