Wealth management firm Bestinvest analysed the funds on its books and put together a list of those, it thinks, provide the best quality in their respective areas. The list follows that of its 'dog funds' - funds that underperformed - published in August. The investments were selected on the basis of both performance analysis and face to face meetings with managers to get an understanding of their investment processes, the firm said.
