Following her dissertation based on whether technology can ever replace human financial advice, Kirsty Worgan believes the two together is the "ultimate" solution.

Bravura's head of sales EMEA says some financial advisers are seeing robo-advisers as threats, but argues the two should compliment each other. "With [the current] robo-advisers in particular, my worry is they are about capturing clients and capturing funds," she adds. "But also people's life stages change. When you're initially putting information into an algorithm what people put in what they think they should be putting in, not actually what their feelings are and how they react to risk."
