Barry Horner, chief executive of Bristol-based Paradigm Norton Financial Planning, this month became the first UK representative to be named chairperson elect of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). We spoke to him about his aims… What are the objectives of the FPSB? It aims to create global excellence in financial planning. It has 24 member countries and we aim to align standards across each of them. The standards should apply regardless of how advanced the financial planning profession is in any one territory.
