Launched just over a year ago, discretionary fund manager Albemarle Street Partners' ‘Breakaway Adviser' initiative aims to support advisers who want to set up independently or who are already part of a firm or network but wish to go independent. Williams explains that it supports advisers by helping with applications for direct authorisation with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), interview preparation, as well as compliance.
